How to Configure Socomec (NET VISION) UPS via Ethernet SMART CARD (www.socomec.ch)

1.      1. Find out the UPS IP address from the DHCP server. (in this how-to : 192.168.0.156)

2.      2. Go to the UPS WEB GUI http:// 192.168.0.156 address: default user name: admin  password: public

3.      3. In the UPS GUI : Net Vision Management -> Net Vision Config ->  adjust the Net Vision Baudrate to: 2400

4.      4. In the JovianDSS console enter ctrl-alt-w and select UPS configuration -> SNMP -> MIB: ietf

5.      5. In the JovianDSS WEB GUI go to Diagnostics -> Hardware-> UPS Status. OL=>ON LINE; OB=>ON BATTERY
