While booting DSS hangs at 59 Percent

Solution:

1. Boot with rescue mode

You need to press "Tab" button at the screen where you choose 32/64 bit mode or RUN SOFTWARE INSTALLER :

a) (THIS STEP IS NOT NECCESSARY):

 to verify what causes the freeze during boot up, modify the line that contains :

splash = silent 

you need to change to :

splash=verbose

Then hit ENTER to boot up. The result should look like this :

b) (THIS STEP IS NECCESSARY) 

Modify the line that contains different parameters :

You need to type :

rescue_mode=no_mount_lv


2. Apply Small Update:

V6 Small Update number: 1310

V7 Small Update number: 70159a

To receive the small updates, please contact OPEN-E TECHNICAL SUPPORT.

After applying the small update, a reboot is required.
