What is the Maximum size allowed for Logical Volumes in NAS R3?

The maximum logical volume size depends on the kernel type you plan to use with your server.  
For the 32bit kernel, the limit is 16TB, while for the 64bit kernel, it's 9 million TB (9 exabytes).
