Replication to branch offices

I would like to have a NAS-Server at each of my remote office for local access.

I want to be able to perform backups at my main off or headquarters.

Is it possible to do this?

We can provide the replication for each of the remote offices to the HQ with our Data
Replication function in DSS
. I have provided a link below showing how this is done with
setup procedures. I would like to point out that each of the remote offices will be
replicating there "Shares" to the HQ DSS server for each individual Share at the HQ. For
example:

HQ: Destination NAS Server:

Share 1: Would have the replication for the Remote office 1
Share 2: Would have the replication for the Remote office 2
Share 3: Would have the replication for the Remote office 3
Share 4: Would have the replication for the Remote office 4
Share 5: Would have the replication for the Remote office 5

Please keep in mind that all the remote offices will not be replicating the data to the
same "Share" as there will be a possibility of data being over written to the HQ server if
they are the same files and we do not recommend this. Only if they are different and each
of the remote offices are not replicating at the same time to the same share and the
Replication schedule is not conflicting.

Then these shares can be Backed up using our internal Backup function to backup to a Tape
Drive, Tape Library, VTL (using our Dynamic Unit function), iSCSI Target and or another
Logical Volume or Volume Group.

We use Rsync for our Data Replication and if the Novell server has this function it might
be possible but we do not have this information about the Novell server to provide you
with any answer.
