If you have Microsoft hosts connected to DSS V6 with iSCSI Failover configuration and you loose the connection to the iSCSI target during a Failover, please modify the MaxRequestHoldTime in the Windows registry MaxRequestHoldTime. This can be located in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E97B-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\<busid>\Parameters\MaxRequestHoldTime

Please see the detailed description of Microsoft iSCSI Software Initiator 2.x for more details about MaxRequestHoldTime option:

MaxRequestHoldTime

Maximum time (in seconds) for which requests will be queued if connection to the target is lost and the connection is being retried. After this hold period, requests will be failed with "error no device" and device (disk) will be removed from the system.

The default value is 60 seconds
