Modify Ethernet Card driver

Tuning your Ethernet card

In some instances you may need to disable or change certain features on your Ethernet controller for better performance.

From the console

Press CTRL-ALT-T

Select Modify Driver Option

Select the Ethernet card you want to modify

Please refer to your Ethernet controller manual for the changes needed

Select the changes that you want to modify and use the manual for the changes needed.

Example:

To set auto-negotiate to FULL we would change

AutoNeg = 0x020
