The up31 ISO updates internal SSH keys so that they will work with later versions.
If you are trying to update from very old version of JovianDSS (for example up28), it will not be possible to just update directly to the latest version. There are too many changes between up28 and current version.
In such cases we advise to update step by step using this path: up29 - up29r4 - up30r2 - up31 - up33. Keep in mind that you will need to remove previous versions (.iso) on the way to have needed space on the boot medium.
