[DSS V7] recognize single CPU Core only

Problem:

DSS V7 recognize single CPU Core only

Symptoms:

  1. smpboot: weird, boot CPU (#0) not listed by the BIOS message in the kernel-sys.log

  1. multicore CPU visible as one core CPU in the log file: tests.log

Solution:

Enter DSS V7 console

  1. Disable (check) IO-APIC in the DSS V7 console: CRTL+ ALT+T ->Boot Option-> Boot Parameters 

  1. Disable X2-APIC on the mainboard

  1. Leave ACPI enabled
