How can I reset iSCSI connection for my Windows 2003 cluster to perform correctly?

Problem:

We have a windows 2003 cluster running for a client and are using Open-e as the SAN for this client. When we test failover of the cluster such as just powering off one of the servers in the cluster the cluster fails to failover properly until we go into the SAN (Open-E) and force a reset on all iSCSI connections. Once the connections are reset everything comes back online on the other cluster node as one would expect.

Solution:

iSCSI connection needs to be reset via HTTP, and this is not implemented in the iSCSI-R3 build 3293 and previouse. And to fix this, the attached small update need to be installed. Then input the following link:

http://ip_address/resetiscsiconnections.php

After inputting all iSCSI connections will be reseted.

Please note that the server will be automatically rebooted after applying the small update.

Note: The attached small update was made for the iSCSI-R3 product build 3293
