Using PRTG to monitor Open-E DSS V6/V7

All plugins we’ve tested are SMTP based so first thing to do is set SMTP setting on DSS and PRTG

DSS: Setup-> Administrator settings-> SNMP settings
Thick Use SNMP and chose Use SNMP v3


Now go to PRTG, chose your device
Uncheck Inherit Credentials for SNMP Devices  and fill them so they will match your DSS settings

To monitor some parameters of your DSS you can add following plugins we managed to test so far:


SNMP Load Avg
SNMP Memory ( monitor SWAP and RAM usage)
