Issue with long booting of VMware ESX 5.0 connected to iSCSI targets

 If you experience a really long booting process of your VMware ESX 5.0 servers that are connected to the DSS V6 iSCSI targets, try to remove the VMKernel Port Bindings - see the images below.




Please also make sure that in the iSCSI initiator properties you use is set to Static Discovery. There should be no iSCSI server locations present in the Dynamic Discovery tab.
