Blue screen with error "0x0000007B" after installing Xen Tools over FC

Symptom:

After installing the XenTools package (xs-tools.iso) on a Windows virtual machine residing on an FC target, a blue screen with the error "0x0000007B" is displayed.

Problem:

This seems to be a question of compatibility between XenServer and larger FC blocksizes.

Solution:

Please use FC volumes with 512b blocksize.
